STEMbassadors
Students in good academics standing who are currently enrolled in the Fundamentals of Information Technology course promote the mission of the Early College STEM Magnet School citywide during information sessions and outreach presentations. STEM is acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. STEMbassadors volunteer to inspire the joy of learning through problem-solving, discovery and exploratory learning.
Michele Clark students will complete a high school diploma, earn college credits, and be ready to begin a career by the time they graduate. The length of enrollment is dependent upon the student's goals and learning needs.
HIGH SCHOOL
Students earn a high school diploma, and begin taking college classes in their junior and senior years. Students receive individual support from our post-secondary coaches and industry mentors to prepare them for college and the competitive careers in Information Technology (IT).
COLLEGE
Students have the opportunity to earn credits toward an associate's degree from any of the five City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) at no cost. Students may take college courses with Michele Clark faculty or college faculty during/after school hours. Student may continue their studies at CCC or apply to other four-year colleges graduation.
CAREER
Students participate in real workplace experiences and develop soft skills such as leadership, team work, and communication. Industry mentors will invite students to explore various career pathways through internship, coaching and mentoring opportunities.
